The front desk staff were extremely hospitable.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The lighting in the room was terrible, making it nearly impossible to get ready for the day. Additionally, the room decor felt unfinished and DIY, which added to the overall lack of comfort during my stay.

The complimentary beverages in the lobby made for a welcoming touch after a long journey.

The room keys initially failed to work, requiring another trip to the front desk for assistance.

Balcony Suite with a View

We loved our beautiful balcony suite where mornings greeted us with stunning views of the vibrant city. The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help.

However, the noise from the street was quite distracting at times. The wet bar fridge was packed, leaving no room for our drinks. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

The staff at the front desk were superb. They greeted us warmly and made everything smooth, even got us tips on where to eat and hang out.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still acceptable for what we got.

Nice outdoor heated pool, but housekeeping was inconsistently responsive. Flat-screen TV was great!

The courtyard was enchanting, and I loved the quirky room décor, which complemented the historic charm of the hotel. The staff was also exceedingly attentive, ensuring a delightful experience during our stay in New Orleans.

Improve soundproofing for a quieter stay.

We stayed in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds and really enjoyed the modern design. The room had a cozy area perfect for relaxing with our kids after a day of exploring. The staff was quick to assist us with a couple of room needs, making our stay even better. The location worked wonderfully for us as it was close to the riverfront and Jackson Square, allowing us to easily walk to many attractions while keeping our kids entertained.

We experienced some noise from the street.

I had a lovely experience at Renaissance in New Orleans. The hotel was modern and clean, fitting perfectly with the New Orleans vibe. My room was equipped with ironing facilities, and the air conditioning worked well, crucial for the summer heat. I really appreciated having a sitting area in the room, providing some extra space to relax. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, making evenings more enjoyable. The location was perfect, right near key attractions like the riverfront and Jackson Square. The atmosphere of the hotel was inviting. I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. The front desk staff responded promptly to my room needs, which made my stay smoother. However, the dining experience could use some improvements. I found the service in the restaurant to be slow, and after one visit, I decided not to return. Also, I was confused about some extra fees I paid for discounts on excursions I ended up not using. Another downside was the pool area. it felt quite small and crowded, offering limited seating. Overall, Renaissance has a lot of positives, but there's room for improvement in dining and amenities.

Our stay was amazing. we loved the beautiful courtyard and excellent hot breakfast! However, the room was way smaller than we expected from the photos. Totally would return though!
